ARJUNA GAVE GURU DAKSHINA TO HIS DIVINE FATHER INDRA

Arjuna kills demons Nivatakavacha, Kalakhanjas & Paulomas

I imagine how powerful that person would be who used divine weapons like Vajra of Deity King Indra and Pasupatastra of Lord Shiva! Well, Arjuna; son of Pandu and Kunti was that individual who used such divine weapons during his war with demons. He once slew three crores of Nivatakavacha demons to pay guru Dakshina to his father deity King Indra. Along with them he also killed Kalaka and Puloma demons of Hiranyapur. After getting back from Indraloka brave Arjuna met along with his brothers Yudhisthira, Bhima, Nakula, and Sahadeva on Gandhamardan hill and explained the incident to them. Let us know about it in short.

Arjuna already obtained fifteen divine weapons alongside five methods of Prayog, Upasamhara, Avritti, Praayashchit, and Pratighat in heaven. Indra was thrilled about him and praised for his bravery. He blessed Arjuna to be skilled in every task, be successful, incomparable, trustworthy, and non-secular and thereafter asked him for Gurudakshina. Arjuna agreed and wished to know approximately it. Indra stated to him that, “there is no work in the three worlds which would be difficult for you. My enemies are demons named Nivatakavacha who have taken shelter in the inaccessible place under the sea. Their number is said to be three crores and they all are the same in their shape, strength, and quickness. Kuntinandan! You kill those demons. Then only yours Guru-Dakshina will be completed.” Saying this Indra Bestowed Arjuna along with his most radiant divine chariot on which whilst being mounted he once had killed demon Bali. The chariot was brought there by his charioteer Matali. Then Indra decorated Arjuna with a stunning crown, impenetrable excellent armour, and each part in line with his form. Thereafter in the Gandiva Dhanush, he positioned the unbreakable pratyancha. At the time, Arjuna set out for the battle, all other deities gave their blessings and presented him with the best conch of Indra to conquer the demons. Due to the fact that the conch was given to him by means of the Devas for the motive of getting victory, consequently, it was named Devadatta. Arjuna accepted it and went closer to the Asuras.

Arjuna reached near the ocean and inspected it. It looked terrible. There were thousands of boats full of gems floating everywhere. Many Timingil, Tirmitimingil, Turtles, and Crocodiles were visible like mountains submerged in water. Heaps of conch were submerged in water everywhere. Like one thousand stars shining thru the clouds in the nighttime, in an equal way, heaps of gemstones seemed to be floating in the seawater. Terrible wind additionally started blowing as if misguiding the path. The spinning of wind there looked strange. Then Arjuna noticed the demon city close to it and without delay rushed there. They went deep into the underworld and at the same time frightening the demons, raided there like thunder in the sky. (It is mentioned in Nilakanthi Tika that the wheels of that chariot were raised firmly to enter the lower part of the earth)

Arjuna then blew the Devadatta conch, which made a horrible sound and frightened the demons. After that thousands of the Nivatakavchas got here out in their place, decorated with various armours, carrying strange weapons in their hands, like large Sula made of iron, mace, mussel, Pahish, Karwal, Rath-chakra, Shatagni (cannon), Bhusundi, and kharga made of gemstone, and so on. At that point, Matali cautiously took the chariot to the flat land. Thereupon those demons raised a noisy voice and played aloud one thousand unique styles of instruments with motifs that started out With that tumul-sound of musical instruments, abruptly millions of fishes in the form of a great mountain died there. The demons attacked Arjuna with heaps of arrows. At that time many Devarishis and different Maharishis and Brahmarishis And Siddhas came to see that exceptional war.

Those amazing demons blocked the way of his chariot by means of roaring around Arjuna from all aspects. Then a few different robust demons came in front of him carrying Sula, bhushundis, patish, and so on in their hands and started attacking him. Alongside a few others hit him with mace and Shakti weapons too. They were good at hitting. Their physic was horrible and in seeing they used to appear like kaal. He fought each of them with the Gandiva Dhanush. Stimulated by way of the charioteer Matali, the ten thousand horses which pulled the big chariot of Arjuna, began moving with the identical velocity as the wind and crushed the demons. Hundreds of demons died trapped there while being shot by Arjuna. Demons showered with arrows and injured Arjuna. Then he used the exquisite and rapid-moving arrows with the Brahmastra and shortly by way of those killed hundreds and thousands of demons. Thereupon, being stricken by the arrows, those demons got furious and all together started to injure him through the rain of sulas, khargas, and arrows. Arjuna used a fierce stunning weapon of Indra named Madhava and pierced the Khargas, Trishuls, and Tomars of demons into hundred pieces.

After that, the arrows of those demons additionally came fiercely at Arjuna. Then he too shot back at those enemies and smashed all the arrows. In this manner, even after being crushed by him, Nivatakavachas again hit him from all facets with heavy arrows. Then Arjuna shot at them with very speedy and igniting arrows and injured thousands of demons. All the demons were terrified after getting hurt by them. The bodies of those demons were broken into a hundred pieces. In this condition, they commenced a Maya-yudh with him. After that Heavy rain of stones started all around. Trees and high boulders started falling on Arjuna and injured him badly. Then he used his arrows similar to the thunderbolt and smashed the boulders along with the stones. It gave the impression of a bunch of sparks of fire. After that, a major water rain began. The rain of the streams, the gusts of the wind, and the roar of the demons captivated him there. It became difficult to see anything there. Then Arjuna Used Vishoshanastra, which was such stunning and fierce that dried up the rainwater. After that Nivatakavachas used wind and fire in opposition to him. Arjuna extinguished all that fireplace with Varunastra and the velocity of the illusory wind with the aid of the usage of the fantastic Silastra there. Demons used distinct forms of illusion at the same time. The terrible weapons and hearth, air, and stones began raining heavily. Illusory rain harmed Arjuna. Incredible darkness fell all around that covered anywhere. The horses of Arjuna’s chariot turned away from the battle and Matali started out stumbling too. From his palms, the bridles and whips of the horses fell to the earth. He got frightened, lost his senses, and started out looking for Arjuna.

Matali then said to Arjuna who seemed terrified too, “Harmless Kuntikumar! Earlier throughout the attainment of nectar in historic times there was a fierce war between the deities and the demons. What I have seen with my eyes is a very terrible war even at the time of the killing of Shambarasura. In that too I've carried out the charioteer work of Devraj Indra. similarly, at the time of the killing of Vritrasura and Virochanakumar Bali, I additionally took the reins of the horses. But I had never seen like this before today and had by no means been unconscious 'it appears that evidently, the creator has determined to destroy all the people today or else It isn't possible to have this kind of horrible conflict.”Arjuna then managed himself and said to Matali, “Suta! don't be afraid. Sit down still at the chariot and watch How a good deal force do I have in my arms? What is the effect of weapons And my Gandiva Dhanush?”

Subsequently, Arjuna created Astrasambadhini Maya, which destroyed those illusions of the demons. Then those demons again created various kinds of illusions. Every so often there was light and sometimes all were merging within the darkness. Sometimes the entire globe became invisible and sometimes drowned in water. After that, whilst there was light, Matali took manage of the horses and started out wandering at the battlefield. Arjuna sent many of the demons to Yamalok. That war was disastrous for the Nivatakavachas.

The demons then hid the inner illusion and attacked him. Arjun started out fighting thru Maya. By influenced via the divine weapons, the arrows released from his Gandiva bow duly went to the demons and cut their heads. Then those Nivatakavachas gathered their illusions and all at once went inside their city. There were millions of demons already dead on the battlefield. There were so many corpses of demons lying there that no place was there for his horses to position one foot after the other. In the end, the Nivatakavachas invisibly attacked and rained stones from the sky. Some terrible demons, who were already inside the earth, grabbed the feet of the horses and the wheels of Arjuna’s chariot. On the one hand, he was getting covered with rocks, on the other hand, the speed of the chariot was decreased because of his horses being caught. In this circumstance of helplessness, Matali asked him to apply vajrastra against the demons.

Arjuna then used the most cherished and powerful weapon Vajra. It entered the Maya of Nivatakavachas and killed all of them. Those demons collapsed even as embracing the opposite. The demons who have been inside the earth were killed too. That entire vicinity was covered with their dead bodies. Neither the horses of Arjuna had been harmed within the war of that time, or the chariot was broken, nor did Matali get hurt. No injuries were visible on Arjuna’s body. Then Matali appreciated Arjuna for showing his bravery there that could by no means be shown by way of any deities even. Then Arjuna accompanied by Matali went to that demon city. Their palaces were made of gold and were of numerous kinds. It had an extraordinary beauty with gems and appeared better than even the great and exceptional town of Devapuri. Then seeing this, Arjuna asked Matali that, why the deities did not own this sort of dazzling place by themselves that looked better than that of their own.

Matali stated, “Parth! In the past this city was ours. It was in the hands of Devraj Indra. After Nivatakavachas entered, all the deities were thrown out of there. With the aid of doing very severe penance, Indra worshipped Lord Brahma and requested him to slay the demons for the welfare of all of the deities. Lord Brahma said to him that, The divine law of God this that only he would put an end to these demons by way of taking over another body. Arjuna! you are the second form of Indra. Indra has given you divine weapons to kill these demons. You have come right here for this and as per the divine law, consequently, the demons had been killed.” Then Arjuna along with Matali returned to Devaloka.

On the way back Arjuna saw another divine and big city, which was illuminated like fire and the solar. The same used to move in line with the wish of its inhabitants. Strange gem trees and melodious birds are used to enhance the beauty of that city. Demons named Paulomas and Kalakhanjas or Kalakeyas constantly lived fortuitously there. It became very hard for the enemies to enter the town. The town appeared extremely good with trees full of fruits and flowers. Many demons who were wearing beautiful garlands around their neck, holding weapons prongs, Musal, bow, Mudgar, and so on., surrounded the city from all sides. Arjuna asked about that lovely city of Matali.

Matali said to him, “Parth! Demon Puloma and Kalaka, the daughter of the exquisite demon Asuravash or Vaishvanara did remarkable penance for thousands of years. After the completion of penance, Lord Brahma gave a boon to each of them. In boon, they asked that the sorrow of their sons should be eliminated, and their sons should be unconquerable to the deities, demons, and Nagas Additionally, there ought to be a stunning city Shining with a high-quality light, That city should be moving in the sky, There should be an accumulation of gemstones that no deities, Maharishis, Yakshas, Gandharvas, snakes, and demons could damage, That city ought to be complete of all favoured features, without mourning should be free from disease and so forth.' Lord Brahma built the same city for the Kalakeyas. This was the same heavenly divine city, and there is no access to deities in it. The demons named Paulomas and Kalakanjas resided in it. This huge city is famous through the name of Hiranyapur. The exquisite asuras named Kalakeya and Pauloma protect it. These are the demons who fight all of the deities. In the past, Lord Brahma had made their death certain at the hands of a man. these Kalakanjas and Pauloma are very strong therefore, you kill them by using a thunderbolt too.”

Arjuna too wished to kill the demons who constantly kept enmity against deities so asked Matali to take the chariot to that city as quickly as possible. On seeing Arjuna there, those monsters adorned with odd garments carrying armour, sat on their chariots and with great speed attacked him with weapons like Naleek, Narach, Bhalla, Shakti, Tomar, and many others. At that time Arjuna with his marvellous talents stopped the rain of arrows and moved at the battlefield with the aid of changing the various maneuvers of the chariot. All of the demons being confused began fighting among themselves. Arjuna cut off loads of the demon heads that time. Whilst those demons started getting killed in this manner, then again they Entered that city and took the aid of the demonic Maya. The city flew excessively in the sky. Arjuna made a heavy shower of arrows that Stopped the path of the demons and hindered their velocity. That city every so often went up within the sky, sometimes went down to the underworld, and additionally stayed on the earth and shortly drowned in water. That big city that roamed at its will appeared like Amaravati; however, Arjuna used exceptional sorts of divine weapons and stopped it from all aspects! The demon city fell on this planet along with the demons. At that point, demons with sixty thousand chariots charged toward Arjuna. Seeing this, Arjuna commenced injuring them with his sharp arrows.

Those demons marched closer to him for war as if the waves of the ocean were rising. Additionally, they faced the divyastras that did not harm him. On that battlefield loads and thousands of demons were visible. They were knowledgeable of weapons and skilled in warfare, but their number was too much. They began injuring Arjuna in that great warfare. Then Arjuna prayed to Lord Rudra with all his heart and used the divine Pashupatastra (Raudrastra) for the welfare of everybody. That extraordinary and divine Pashupatastra is the most powerful weapon for the complete global. After the usage of it, Arjuna had a vision of a divine person, who had three heads, three faces, nine eyes, and six hands. His appearance was wonderful. The hair on his head was like the sun was igniting. Giant snakes with flabby tongues were Like clothes made for that divine man. He was incredible Lord Mahadeva! After having his vision, all his fear went away. By connecting the Sanatan Pashupatastra on the Gandiva bow, the weapon was released for the destruction of these demons. As soon as that weapon was launched, thousands of forms seemed from it. Deer, lion, tiger, bear, buffalo, snake, cow, Lions, Elephants, Apes, Bulls, Boars, Tomcats, Wolves, Phantoms, Bhurunda, Vulture, Garuda, Chamari Cow, Deity, Rishi, Gandharva, vampire, yaksha, deviant demon, occult, nocturnal, fish, Gazmukh, Owl, Pisces, and Horse-like forms Creatures arose. In their hands, there were weapons and khargas. Many Yatudhans additionally seemed. Alongside all these many different creatures also appeared who took various forms. All those demons were destroyed by way of being deeply hit by them. Seeing this, Arjuna again prayed to Lord Shankar, the destroyer of Tripura. Those demons were overwhelmed by the divine Pashupatastra. Matali was very satisfied to look at this and he admired Arjuna for showing the braveness that was not possible even for deities and asuras. In this way, Arjuna slew the remarkable demons referred to as Nivatakavacha. (and Paulomas and the Kalakeyas) and also devastated Hiranyapur in that state.

Matali later narrated it in detail to Indra. After listening to the Demolition of Hiranyapura, the removal of demonic illusion, and the killing of the excellent robust Nivatakavachas in the war, Indra and other deities consisting of Maruta were very pleased. Thereafter Devaraja even as Consoling Arjuna, again and again, said this sweet word at the side of the deities,” Parth! you have done that work in the war, which was impossible even for the deities and demons. today you have got killed my great enemies and paid your Guru Dakshina. Dhananjay! Just like you, One always needs to remain constant on the battlefield and use his weapons. Deities, demons, and monsters no person can face in war. Yakshas, demons, Gandharva birds, and snakes also can not stand in front of you. Yudhishthira; the Virtuous son of Kunti Will rule the earth conquered by your arms. You've got all the divine weapons. No man in the world can defeat you. 'Son! such as Bhishma, Drona, Kripacharya, Karna and the king Shakuni can not match your skills.” Indra then gave to Arjuna the impenetrable divine armour, the golden garland, the Devadatta shell, the divine crown, stunning and divine clothes, and divine embellishes. Arjuna then gladly stayed in Indrabhavan with the Gandharva kumaras. He had in total spent five years there. After that, he met with his brothers at the peak of Gandhamadana Mountain.

DURYODHANA SAT ON FAST UNTO DEATH

Prayopavesa of Duryodhana!

Did you know that Duryodhana once sat on fast until his demise as he was ashamed of being rescued by Pandavas from the Gandharvas? After being privy to Pandavas' stay within the Dweta forest during their exile period, Duryodhana along with his brothers, Shakuni, Karna, their wives, and hundreds of men set out for The woodland to observe the depressing situations of the Pandavas along with Draupadi. Indra knowing approximately such an evil idea had sent Gandharvas led by way of their king Chitrasena and captured Duryodhana however as in keeping with the commands of Yudhishthira Arjuna together with Bhima, Nakula and Sahadeva defeated Chitrasena, different Gandharvas and rescued Duryodhana. After that, Yudhishthira lovingly instructed Duryodhana now not to hold hatred feelings for them and by no means show such recklessness again.

Duryodhana was feeling extremely embarrassed and depressed for being saved via Pandavas. whilst returning, He met with Karna, who had already run away earlier not being capable of fighting the Gandharvas. Seeing Duryodhana fine, Karna gladly greeted Duryodhana for defeating the Gandharvas and coming alive alongside others. Duryodhana then elaborated sorrowfully on how he along with his armies, brothers, and ministers were captured by those Gandharvas and later rescued by Pandavas. Duryodhana noted to Karna, "It would have been outstanding for me to gain Indraloka after being dead at the hands of Gandharvas rather than being saved by way of the Pandavas." Duryodhana was worried about how he would face his people and relatives at Hastinapura due to the reality that he had already lost his glory because of his foolishness. He decided to do fasting till his loss of life and asked all others to return to the Hastinapura. furthermore, he announced his brother Dushasana as the king of Hastinapura and delegated the duties to him, and stayed certain of his decision. Suta Putra Karna, Shakuni, Dushasana, other Kaurava brothers, and ministers attempted to persuade Duryodhana not to take this kind of step however failed to accomplish that.

Duryodhana put on Kusha Bakala clothes, left all of the outer activities like taking baths or meals, etc, sat on sacred Kusha asana, and while performing all of the rituals of fasting waited for death only. All of the demons or Daityas of Patala(underworld) who earlier were defeated via the Deities panicked about losing their aspect to see Duryodhana preparing himself for demise. in order to bring Duryodhana near them, all of them started performing Agni Vistarsadhya Yajna with the mantras specified in Arthavedas and as stated by Deity Guru Brihaspati and Daitya Guru Shukracharya and doing Havan with the hymn as in keeping with the Upanishad Aranyaka. From that Havan fire, a strange Krutya (lady demon) appeared from there. She was then asked by those demons to bring Duryodhana near all of them. She did it accordingly.

Seeing Duryodhana in front of them, All those demons were satisfied. Demons told him, "Bharata Descendant Duryodhana! Regardless of being surrounded by superb warriors, how could you decide to go for the step of Suicide? Any such sinful step does not suit a wise person like you. Your body is divine and is made wonderfully. Lord Shiva was pleased with our prayers and blessed you with us. Your upper body(above the navel) is extraordinarily strong like Vajra and your lower body is delicate as the flower blessed by Devi Parvati to attract the women. You must no longer grieve or worry!

Many demons already have taken birth on the earth to assist you. These demons will later capture the minds of Bhishma, and Drona who will then no longer hesitate to combat their relatives, Sons, disciples, buddies, Seniors, and so forth. These amazing warriors obsessed with the Maya of those demons will use their weapons in opposition to their enemies without showing mercy and could combat fiercely. However Boosted by Deities, those five Mahatma Pandavas will slaughter these extraordinary warriors.

You must no longer be terrified of Arjuna as we have already found an approach for killing him too. The soul of Demon Narakasura whom Lord Krishna killed earlier now is living inside Karna. Karna while bearing the Past malice in his thoughts will fiercely fight with Arjuna. Deities will then take the Kavach and Kundal from Karna mischievously but we will additionally let one lakh Samsaptakas combat with Arjuna.

All the deities have taken the refuge of Pandavas only whereas we ought to take yours. "

After announcing this those demons hugged Duryodhana at the same time as consoling him. Then Krutya left Duryodhana in the same area wherein he was fasting. Then Duryodhana while considering the statements of demons made up his thoughts that he would honestly conquer the Pandavas while taking the help of Karna and Samsaptakas.

The next day Karna alongside Shakuni, Dushasana again requested Duryodhana to change his mind about fasting. Duryodhana kept his discussion with those demons private, prepared his mind for war towards Pandavas and agreed to return to Hastinapura.

Samsaptakas being biased by those demons kept looking forward to their combat with Arjuna and Bhishma, Drona and Kripa additionally didn't have affection toward Pandavas like earlier then.

It's been mentioned inside the book that 'Kali was born as Duryodhana'. No question we understand now why he agreed to the statements of those demons and worked consequently.

KING NAHUSHA WAS RELIEVED FROM CURSE

Nahusha captures Bhima, Yudhishthira answers his questions, rescues Bhima, and frees Nahusha from his curse

I've earlier mentioned King Nahusha; the king of the Aila dynasty and the father of Yayati. He was once cursed to be a snake and had captured the powerful Bhima in the course of their exile period. Are you all able to believe Bhima who used to have exquisite strength similar to thousands of elephants became terrified by that snake? let me first remind you quickly of how Nahusha was once cursed by sage Agastya then we will continue with this put up of how he was relieved from the same by Yudhishtir. After Indra had left his throne thinking about himself as responsible for Brahma Hatya, Nahusha was crowned as Indra, he was involved in incorrect deeds in heaven, and asked Sachi; the wife of Indra to accept him as her husband. Nahusha made all of the seven Rishis or Saptarishis and different sages carry him in his Vaahan, started humiliating many sages, and once Nahusha began arguing with all the sages concerning the prokshan mantra of Cows mentioned in the Vedas had been real or not and kicked Agastya sage on his head. due to the fact, his Nahusha's entire virtues were lost via that time and as per the curse of sage Agastya, he became a snake and fell from heaven. Agastya furthermore recommended to him that he would remain on earth for ten thousand years as a snake and after getting the proper answers to his questions, he might again acquire heaven.

Now coming back to the post, Pandavas entered Dvaitavan near the riverside of Saraswati. throughout their stay, Bhima used to unexpectedly roam around the forest while carrying his sword and Dhanush in his hand. Fearless Bhima scared away many wild animals on his way. One day Bhima whilst roaring like a lion chased after many poisonous snakes and observed one yellowish radiant and huge ajgra or Python snake that looked like a large mountain. Its reddish eyes seemed as if it'll spit hearth from them. That fierce python reached near Bhima and with the purpose to eat Bhima, It caught him by the arms forcefully. powerful Bhima tried his best to escape from that python however failed to do so. It appeared as if it was predecided for the snake to seize Bhima. That python was none other than the ancestor of Pandavas, King Nahusha.

Unable to defeat the extraordinary python, Bhima gave him his introduction and questioned him, notwithstanding his unbeatable strength how ought a python defeat him? Python elaborated to Bhima about his original identity and the curse of sage Agastya additionally He referred to that he was blessed with a boon that he could even lay hold of an elephant if he ever came access through him in the course of the sixth part of a day. After hearing this, Bhima then regretted not to be getting back to his brothers. Python began squeezing his body tightly.

On the other side, Pandavas along with Draupadi were worried not to see Bhima coming back. Yudhishthira in conjunction with their priest Dhaumya went in looking for Bhima, followed the footsteps of Bhima after noticing it in the forest, and found him being stuck by way of a giant python. After understanding the snake's identity from Bhima, Yudhishthira requested the python to leave his brother and have a few different prey alternatively. Nahusha warned Yudhishthira of consuming him along with Bhima too. However, Nahusha informed him, "You can rescue your brother Bhima only after answering my questions." Yudhishthira agreed.

Nahusha asked, who's a Brahmana? what's the right precept for him?"

Yudhishthira said, "That individual who possesses the characteristics of Being honest, decent, forgiving, sympathetic, having Ascetic power, and capable of donating is considered Brahmin. His proper principle is cited in his comprehension of Parambrahma. God-consciousness is free from all types of sorrows and happiness."

Nahusha asked, due to the fact God-consciousness is based totally on being honest, non-secular, etc then Shudra also has it. Furthermore, he does no longer see the existence of any factor other than happiness and sorrow?

Yudhishthira said, "If a Shudra has the good features however a Brahmin doesn't then that Shudra must be regarded as Brahmin for being saintly whereas Brahmin is referred to as Shudra for not doing righteous actually. It is true that apart from happiness and sorrows we don't see anything else. But Brahma pada is the most effective vicinity that is far away  from happiness and sorrows."

Nahusha asked, because Brahmins are acknowledged as in keeping with their saintly deeds then it's far useless to consider the caste after the baby's birth until he does any virtuous act.

Yudhishthira answered him, "It's difficult to consider everyone's caste nowadays due to the fact an individual regardless of different caste are blending and having babies from another caste female. Speech, sexual intercourse, birth, and death are common in all. At the beginning of yajna, all of the sages do the sacrifice starting with 'Ye Yajamahe' means whatever caste so ever we may be, we worship as well as admire god and perform the sacrifice. After the severance of the umbilical cord, the child's Jatakarman(natal rites) is completed, his father is referred to as 'Acharya' and his mom as 'Savitri'. That boy is referred to as 'Shudra' till he has finished his Veda study. Swayambhuva Manu has declared, Vidyadhyayan completed after studying Vedas Brahmins lack generosity, and tolerance behaviour in them, then it is considered as there's Varna-Sankarata(combined caste). After his Vidyadhyayan, if he turns virtuous and cultured then he is referred to as Brahmin."

Nahusha after paying attention to the answers of Yudhishthira, Nahusha was pleased with him and stated, how could he now devour Bhima?

Yudhishthira then asked Nahusha, because you are knowledgeable in Vedas and Vedangas, tell me, by which activity does one attain salvation?

Nahusha spoke back, "Man can obtain salvation via donating, speaking with politeness, staying non-secular, being truthful and harmless."

Yudhishthira asked, which is greater between being trustworthy or donating and being well-mannered or harmless?

Nahusha spoke back, "The significance of these activities may be measured in line with their task. from time to time being truthful is greater than donating alms and sometimes vice versa. similarly talking well-mannered is considered greater sometimes than being harmless and sometimes the alternative. It relies upon the necessities of the obligations."

Yudhishthira asked, how the attainment of heaven and getting fruits of Karma can be comprehended by a character. tell me about the Gati of those who are free from Deh-abhiman or body awareness.

Nahusha responded, "Individuals acquire three gatis known as, 'going to heaven', 'being born in Manushya yoni' and 'in Tiryak yoni or going to hell. among those gatis, in Manushya yoni, a soul is born as a human, remains away from pleasures and laziness, performs righteous acts whilst being spiritual and consequently acquires heaven.

In Tiryak yoni, the soul gets born as an animal due to having Kama or desires, krodha or anger, Hinsa or violence, and Lobha or greed natures in his preceding birth which destroys his humanity. Then from Tiryak yoni, it gets liberation to undergo Manusya yoni. Cows and horses additionally get salvation and go to Devatva or divinity.

Individuals who do no longer recognize the soul that resides in their body or not having body consciousness, constantly expect rewards of their karma, get rebirth again and again and go through the stages of happiness and sorrow. However, people who in no way anticipate the result of their karma constantly remain impartial to different people and maintain their minds in Parambrahma only."

Yudhishthira asked, what's the foundation of sound, touch, form, taste, and smell? Why does not our mind perceive those simultaneously?

Nahusha responded, "A soul with the support of a massive, small or Karana body and thru all its senses revel in everything. knowledge, expertise, and mind are its Karana. The Pancha bhoota including Prithvi or earth, Jal or water, Agni or fire, Vayu or air, and Akasha or space are the basic elements that create any Jivatma in our body whilst being in there enjoy these elements via his mind. His mind remains constrained to one detail at a time and consequently can not relish many factors at a time. That soul while staying  in Moha diverts our accurate or terrible mindset towards a variety of things."

Yudhishthira asked, inform me of the characteristics of mind and intellect on the grounds that it is essential for Adhyatma sastra scholars.

Nahusha answered, "The amusement of soul and accomplishment of Moksha is the sole motive of intellect. intellect via soul attains the subject for this reason known to be biddable to its soul. through obtaining the knowledge power of intellect, the mind becomes able to use its senses. therefore intellect comes at the start of any activities wherein as mind constantly stays."

Yudhishthira then wanted to know the cause behind this type of significant knowledgeable individual like Nahusha for falling in Moha and getting the curse. Nahusha explained to him the cause behind it. He regretted being impolite and smug after being crowned as Indra even forgetting his sanity after being involved within the luxurious accommodation within heaven. Nahusha realized the extraordinary power of Brahma Gyan(expertise of the Hindu supreme god Brahmin) and Brahmanatva (Brahmanism) of sages. This was the sole reason why he had asked Yudhishthira about these topics. Nahusha now got to realize that, simplest being truthful, religious, harmless, having control over senses, asceticism, and by way of donating one could attain salvation. Nahusha then freed Bhima from him, blessed Yudhishthira, left the body of the Python, and went towards Heaven on a divine Vimana.

Agni assumed Lord Brahma must have appointed Sage Angira as another Agni for the entire world considering that Agni had already lost his glory due to practicing austerities. Agni became curious to discover a technique to get back to his fierce form. He noticed sage Angira with his blaze was heating the entire universe. Scared Agni slowly reached close to him. Sage Angira saw the God of fire and then requested him, "Dev! you're honoured inside the complete universe. Kindly take back your position. Lord Brahma has created you in the first form to dispel the darkness of the world. "

After hearing this Agni responded, "Sage! I have already lost my glory in the world. You deserve this function. Please be honoured. humans will only bear in mind you as Agni. no person will regard my blaze in front of yours. moreover, I'm able to come up with all my Agnitva and you take the primary form of Agni. I will take the second one vicinity of Prajapatyagni."

Angira then said, "Agnidev! You do the auspicious work of sending the Havisha (offerings) to all the deities for the saintly human beings to let them acquire heaven. also, take the position of Agni by yourself to illuminate the whole universe and accept me as your first son."

Agni agreed to him and blessed him with a son named Brihaspati. all of the Deities were curious to know why Agni accepted Sage Angira as his son. After knowing approximately the purpose, they considered it was justified.

Do you all recognize, Sage Atharva Angira made Saha Agni again appear from the water? commonly, Sindhunada, Panchanada, Devika, Saraswati, Ganga, Satakumbha, Sarayu, Charmanwati, Mahi, Medha, Meghatithi, Tamravati, Vetravati, Kaushiki, Tamasa, Narmada, Godavari, Vena, Upavena, Bhima, Badua, Bharti, Suprayoga, Kaveri, Murmura, Tungavena, Krishnavena, Kapila, Sonbhadra, and many others are considered as the origin of Agnis.

Adbhuta Agni established in wealth and prosperity is venerated as the lord of Mahabhuta and recognized as 'Grihapati Agni' to present Havisha to the deities in the course of the Havan. He had a son named Bharat who used to burn dead bodies in a cremation who later named 'Niyat' for being in Agnishtoma or Agnistoma yajna(one form of Soma sacrifices). One day Saha Agni while noticing all of the deities alongside Niyat approaching him, feared being touched by his grandson and thus hid beneath the sea. Saha saw Atharva and asked him to be dignified in Agni's place and present Havisha to the deities on behalf of him due to the fact that he was getting weak. Then Saha went to another location. Atharva searched for him anywhere and got to know his vicinity from the fish. because the fishes disclosed his location, Saha cursed them, "You'll all be eaten up by many animals from now on."

Atharva according to the demand of deities again requested Saha to do his task but Saha denied thinking about his weakened state of physic and consequently left his body there. Saha then entered the depths of the earth, created many treasured gemstones by way of touching the ground, clouds stuffed the crust of the earth with ores and practised austerities. Then Bhrigu and Angira woke him up from his deep penance.

Seeing Maharishi Angira Saha Agni again hid below the sea out of fear. The invisibility of Agni terrified the entire globe. They prayed and took refuge in Angira Atharva. Atharva shook the whole ocean and located Agni there. Then Agni after coming back to his form commenced out carrying the Havisha of all people to the deities. Agni whilst roaming beneath the ocean, located many Vedokta (declared by means of Vedas) Agnis and their places.

BHIMA FREED KUBERA FROM CURSE OF AGASTYA

Bhima fought with Yakshas and killed Maniman Demon

Kubera is the god of Yakshas and the embodiment of riches, prosperity, and eminence. Brahma had bestowed upon Kubera the lordship of riches, fellowship with Shiva, godhood, status as a world-protector, a son called Nalakubera/Nalakubara, the Pushpaka Vimana, and the lordship of the Nairrata devils. Within the Treta yuga, it is said that Ravana, after procuring a boon of Brahma, pushed Kubera away from Lanka and seized his flying chariot Pushpaka Vimana, which was returned to Kubera after Ravana's passing. Kubera at that point settled on Gandhamandana mountain, close to Mount Kailash: the dwelling place of the god Shiva within the Himalayas. Did you know Bhima once diminished Kubera from a curse of sage Agastya? I will share that occurrence here in this post in brief.

Please click below the video in Hindi 👇

Amid the exile period, Pandavas went to the crest of The Himalayas and remained within the hermitage of Sage Arshtishena on the Gandhamadana mountain for five years. One day Forceful Garuda reached there and captured the Tridhiman snake that was remaining interior of a lake nearby. The mountain began trembling whereas pulverizing Its trees and the wind started blowing by the force of Garuda's wings. Pandavas observed that incident there. Draupadi noticed one garland of the assortment of fragrant blossoms and was curious where did it come from. She told Bhima, "Similar to Compelling Garuda showed off his strength earlier and gutsy Arjuna obtaining Gandiva Dhanush after killing many demons within the Khandava forest, I now wish you to frighten the whole demons of this mount by your  gigantic physical strength to let them run away from there so that I can meander around that mountain securely with you then."

Bhima acknowledged the challenge, climbed towards the peak of the mountain, reached its crest, and noticed the excellent royal residence of Kubera made with gold and Crystal stones and surrounded by a lovely garden. Apsaras were dancing interior that put. Bhima watched the put was beautified with lots of valuable gems and garlands. That time Bhima blew his conch shell boisterously which frightened the demons, Yakshas and Gandharvas adjacent. Seeing Bhima there, all the Yakshas, devils, and Gandharvas rushed towards him while carrying weapons like mace, Sula, sword, shakti, and Parshu in their hands. They all began battling with Bhima with Maya. Bhima used his Bhalla weapon against them and injured them. Bhima alone vanquished all of them with his boundless strength. Scared by Bhima, those Yakshas and Gandharvas tossed all their weapons and ran away from there.

Those devils came close to their most courageous demon Maniman or Manimana, who was the friend of Kubera and clarified to him about the gallant Bhima. Maniman told them, how could a single man overcome all of the demons. At that point, he took Shakti, Sula, and Mace in his hand and went in the direction of Bhima. Seeing Maniman approaching from a distance, Bhima shot Batschadant bolts at his chest. Maniman was an expert in utilizing his mace. He utilized it against Bhima's arrows, then shot Shakti at Bhima which penetrated through Bhisma's right hand. Infuriated Bhima hurried towards Maniman whereas holding his mace. Maniman tossed a shimmering Trishul at him that was crushed by Bhima through his mace. Bhima furiously hit Maniman with that mace and slaughtered him that minute.

Yudhishthira, Nakula, and Sahadeva beside Priest Dhaumya, Draupadi and other Brahmins after hearing the resounded clamours from the caves of the mountain and were stressed not to discover Bhima anywhere (Arjuna had gone to Indraloka for procuring divine weapons). While looking for Bhima, Pandavas reached the crest of the mountain and noticed Bhima there. Other than that they also saw dead Maniman beside numerous injured demons there. Pandavas were happy to find their brother. Yudhishthira told Bhima, "The act done by you is not worthy from the Austere point of view, murdering these demons are superfluous. Bhima! You are responsible for deitydroha! I deny you to rehash this since I do not appreciate it. All the individuals who disregard riches and religion to sin would get rebuffed after their passing."

On the other side, a few demons who had gotten away from Bhima informed their king Kubera about other devils as well as Maniman's passing by the hand of a human. Infuriated Kubera after grieving about those, seated on his extraordinary Pushpak Viman came to  Gandhamadhana alongside one thousand Yakshas and saw Pandavas there. Kubera was thrilled to see them. Pandavas offered their prayers to Kubera. In spite of the fact that Bhima was harmed by all those demons still, he looked as if he was prepared to battle once more since he was still holding weapons. Kubera told to Yudhishthira, "You must remain without any fear on that mountain and there is no require for you to get irate on Bhima or be embarrassed by his act any longer since Yakshas were foreordained to be murdered through Bhima as it were."

Kubera then told them, "Before a long time, an assembly was organized for all the deities in Kushavati to which I was too welcomed. I went there beside three hundred Mahaprajna frightening Yakshas. On my way, we all saw Incredible sage Agastya practising penance close to the ocean side. Agastya was standing there with his arms raised while confronting Sun. That time my close but silly companion Maniman spit upon the head of Sage Agastya out of arrogance and numbness. Agastya angrily cursed me that, in spite of my presence, my friend Maniman humiliated him by such an act consequently Maniman along with these present Yakshas will pass on by the hands of a human, I shall lament over the death of these all and only be relieved from the curse after meeting with that same human who would have slaughtered these demons then. Agastya too said to me that, the Yakshas who would be obliged and dutiful towards me would stay unharmed from his revile."

Hence after meeting with Bhima Kubera was soothed from the curse of Agastya. He advised Yudhishthira to keep Bhima under control since Bhima was a fearless, angry individual who didn't know his devout, acting childish, and had a sense of predominance because of having tremendous power which might lead him to commit sins in the future. Kubera too guaranteed Pandavas for assisting them on the off chance that circumstance ever arrived. Bhima kept all his weapons on the ground and with folding hands took the shelter of Kubera at that point. Kubera gave him blessings, assured him of the help of demons in the future, and the wellbeing of Arjuna in Indraloka and after that left for Kailash.

THE FROG KING AYU AND HIS CURSE

Manduka King rescued the frogs, cursed his daughter, and Tremendous Ascetic power of Sage Bamadeva

This post is about the great Ascetic power of Sage Bamadeva or Bamadev which was specified by sage Markandeya to the Pandavas during their exile period. The fiendish act of the Manduka king's daughter led to a curse that killed the Ikshavaku ruler Sala. The mortification of an effective Ascetic like Bamadeva could have ended with the pulverization of the whole dynasty however was saved by the queen.

There was a king named Parikshit in the Ikshavaku Dynasty, who once went hunting. While chasing one wild animal within the woodland, he got to be depleted, saw another dense forest adjacent and entered inside it. Within the centre of that woodland, he found one delightful lake, and out of thirst he drank water from it and took a rest close to the lakeside. At that time he heard a sweet song and suspected whose voice it might be since the king had seen no people in that put. He noticed one beautiful young lady approaching there. Out of Curiosity, the King inquired about her identity. She answered, "I am a young lady and not yet hitched." King then expressed his love for her and wished to own her.

That young lady told the king that he could own her only on one condition that, he must not show her water at all. The King concurred and did Gandharva vivah( a marriage with mutual fascination, having no other witness). King's army while seeking out the king reached there. King Parikshit alongside his newly married spouse went to his kingdom. He remained with that young lady in one separate put where no one seemed to enter. One day King's servant watched a few slaves coming out of the Place and asked them about the act of assistance that they were providing to both the King and queen and came to know that those slaves used to halt anybody from taking water to that place.

After hearing this, ministers built a wonderful garden for the king that was filled with lovely and tallest trees and barring any ponds. However, they had made one baoli or well that was secured with vine plants. Ministers asked the king to wander around that wonderful garden. King together with his spouse used to roam in that garden. One day while meandering around the garden King got to be thirsty, saw that baoli, and told his spouse, "Queen! Carefully get into the water." Seeing the water, King's wife entered the Baoli, plunged into the water and didn't come back.

King could not discover his spouse within the Baoli even after taking out the total water from it. He saw one frog adjacent and out of anger ordered the execution of whole frogs in his kingdom. Panicked all the frogs went to their Manduka king or frog king Ayu and clarified everything to him. Manduka ruler took the shape of an Ascetic, went to King Parikshit and asked him not to butcher the guiltless frogs. Manduka king in addition told him that by slaughtering these frogs superfluous, the king would not get any benefits and rather would lose his riches for Acting thoughtlessly.

King was already in depression from losing his adored spouse. He expressed to the frog King that, he would not pardon those frogs who had devoured the queen. Hearing about the queen, the frog king At that point comprehended the circumstance and informed King Parikshit about his original identity and about his daughter Susobhana or Susovana(Shushobhana) whom the king was married to. The frog king said to the king that, It was his daughter's wickedness that she left the king and such an evil act was already done by her earlier with other Kings as well. King Parikshit asked the frog king to give him his adored spouse back. Ruler Ayu told his girl to go back to the king and considering the truth of her dumping other incredible kings as well, he cursed her by saying her children would go against Brahmins' principles.

Susobhana gave birth to three children named Sala, Dala, and Bala. Ruler Parikshit after years gave his throne to his senior child and went to the forest for meditation.

One day King Sala went on hunting, noticed one deer and asked his charioteer to take his chariot near to it. His charioteer told his king that he wouldn't be able to capture that deer due to the reality that the king didn't have the Bamya horses for pulling his chariot. King inquisitively inquired him about those horses and came to know from him that Bamyamuni's horses alluded to as Bamya horses and those used to be exceptionally quick. King ordered his charioteer to take him to the sage's hermitage. In the hermitage, the ruler Sala asked the sage Bamadeva to give him his Bamya horses for getting that deer whom the king was chasing prior. Sage concurred with the ruler and told him to return him his steeds back after he had done with his chasing. King got those two horses from the sage while going hunting, he thought of giving those horses back wouldn't be necessary to the sage and thus took those to his kingdom.

Seeing the ruler not giving him his horses back indeed after a month, the sage sent one of his disciples Atreya to the king inquiring about his horses. King Sala denied him by saying That, "a Brahmin must not merit keeping horses with him." Bamadeva himself then went to the King and asked him for his horses. Bamadeva told him that, "a king is idolized among Brahmins and Kshatriyas and he must remain honest otherwise Varuna god would rebuff him."

King offered two bulls to sage in substitute for those Bamya horses by saying no Brahmins required horses since Veda mantras were sufficient for sage's Vahana and Kshatriyas required those steeds for chasing purposes. Sage Bamadeva denied him by saying, "No doubt Veda mantras were their vahana but those are considered in Paraloka as it were and in Manushya Loka horse would do it for all." King Sala at that point wished to present him with a choice of a ride pulled by two steeds other than those Bamya steeds but sage didn't concur as he required only his horses. The ruler was certain in his choice of not giving the sage's horse back to him.

Sage cursed the king to die at the hands of a furious demon there. As a result, the king was killed. After his passing, his brother Dala got to be the ruler. When sage Bamadev again asked him for his horse back which ruler Dala also denied and additionally threatened the sage by saying he would hurt the sage by shooting an arrow at him and make him fall on the ground so that the dogs would eat his flesh.

The infuriated sage cursed King Dala, "King! You will kill your cherished child Syenajeet by this same arrow." That very moment king's child passed on by that bolt shot by the King only.

Out of anger ruler took another arrow in order to kill the sage. But the sage stated to him, "Neither you will be able to place that arrow on your Dhanush nor be able to shoot it." It happened in like manner. Seeing himself trapped by the sage, King Dala changed his mind about murdering the sage. Sage Bamadeva at that point asked the ruler to touch his wife via that bolt to be freed of the Brahma Hatya sin. The ruler concurred and was soothed from sin.

King Dala's spouse told the sage, "I continuously attempt to calm down my inconsiderate spouse by my respectful conduct and I all by myself look for opportunities to serve the Brahmins. Subsequently, I wish near you to grant me the Punyaloka that I merit." Sage was satisfied with her since she protected the king and his kingdom from devastation in this manner wished to allow her a boon. She asked the sage to let her spouse be free from all the sins and let him remain peacefully at the side of his son and relatives. Sage allowed her. Ruler Dala at that point returned those Bamya steeds to the sage.

KING INDRADYUMNA OF PURI FELL DOWN FROM HEAVEN

King Indradyumna acquires heaven because of his virtuous deeds

I am born and raised in the sacred put of Lord Jagannath Puri and I am obliged to type in a brief about Such an extraordinary ruler Indradyumna, who once fell from heaven because of the end of his sacred deeds. Before progressing to that subject specified in Mahabharata let me tell you about the king in brief. He was a Malava ruler and son of King Bharata. No one was comparable to his principled nature. Being the awesome aficionado of Lord Vishnu, Indradyumna once heard about Nila Madhava(an incarnation of Lord Vishnu), looked for him everywhere, and was informed by one priest named Vidyapati about Nila Madhava who was being worshipped by Sabar Viswavasu at Nilagiri, the king reached the spot but couldn't discover Nila Madhava. Afterwards, King was instructed by the Supreme God to construct a temple for him where he would be adored within the shape of Daru Brahma or absolute truth manifested within the wooden shape. The incredible devotee King Indradyumna himself had voyaged to Brahmaloka and requested Lord Brahma to consecrate the temple and the encompassing area, known as Shri Kshetra. Ruler Indradyumna had set up the Idle of Lord Jagannath there in Puri. Sage Markandeya had specified the greatness of Longlived King Indradyumna to the Pandavas during their exile period that I am planning to share here.

Indradyumna acquired heaven after his death and remained there for a long period whereas enjoying the fruits of his ethical karmas. at that point, the deity King Indra had informed the king that all his principled deeds were finished and no one on the earth remembered the king's heavenly works by that time. Hence Ruler Indradyumna fell from heaven. Since Sage Markandeya was a Chiranjivi (lived forever), King went close to him and inquired whether he recognized King Indradyumna or not.

Sage answered, "Sages like him used to travel to distinctive places either on account of pilgrimage or procuring heavenliness by performing righteous deeds also used to have a boisterous schedule due to the truth of vrat fastings and thus it is not conceivable for the sage to identify the king. " King at that point asked in case there would be anybody else born before the sage had been born who might recognize the king. Sage told the lord about an owl named Pravarkarna, who was born before him and was staying in the Himalayas.

Please click the below video in Hindi 👇

King Indradyumna took the shape of a horse, carried the sage Markandeya reached near the owl and asked if it knew about the king. The owl denied it. King inquired the owl in case it knew about any other Chiranjeevi creature who would have been born before him. The owl said about a giant crane named Nadijangha who used to remain in a lake coincidentally named Indradyumna Sarovar and might have known the king. King took the owl alongside the sage Markandeya to that crane. both the sage and owl asked the crane if it identified King Indradyumna. But Nadijangha denied it as well. At that point, he instructed about one turtle named Akupara who moreover lived inside that pond and was older than the crane.

That crane asked the turtle Akupara to come out of the pond and reply to them if he knew about the incredible ruler Indradyumna. Akupara after hearing this got to be emotional, shed tears and answered that he certainly recollected the heavenly lord Indradyumna who did thousands of Yajnyas, built thousands of Yupa-stambhas, and given millions of cows in charity. In addition, the turtle said that the Indradyumna Sarovar, where the turtle was living, was formed by the movement of the cow hooves and consequently was named after the extraordinary king Indradyumna. That very minute one divine chariot from the Devaloka arrived there. Debaduta asked King Indradyumna to go back to heaven. Devout king first took both the sage and owl back to their places and after that went to heaven with Debaduta.

This was how he again reached heaven. The ethics of the story was a human being is always recalled by his righteous deeds. The righteousness of such people is respected in both Bhuloka or earth world and Devaloka or heaven. As long as his righteous radiance persists, he remains in heaven otherwise he falls to the lower lokas. Hence everybody must follow their noble and religious activities and carry on with the same without considering the results of his karmas.

CONVERSATION BETWEEN INDRA AND SAGE BAKA

Sage Baka explains to Indra the pleasure and sorrows of a long-lived person

The brief conversation or sambad between sage Baka and Deity King Indra is radiant. I have prior specified almost the discussion between Goddess Saraswati and Tarkshya sage. We all ought to go through these valuable talks. Sage Markandeya had said about these to the Pandavas amid their exile period. Sage Baka and Indra used to be incredible buddies. These dialogues are about the bliss and distress of a long-lived individual.

After Indra had triumphed over the daityas or demons within the Devasura Sangram( the war between deities and demons or Daityas), He was crowned as the ruler of three lokas. He used to rain on time and reasonably treat all the individuals. One day in order to know the prosperity of his individuals, he meandered on his Mount Airavata elephant and come to the wonderful hermitage of Sage Baka. Sage Baka invited Indra inside out of fondness, worshipped him, and offered fruits.

That time Indra seeing Sage Baka had as of now come to the age of one lac year, inquired him, "Based on your own experience thorough out your life, tell me what are the distresses of a long-lived individual?"

Sage answered, "Longlived individual has got to remain along with side repulsive individuals, watch the passing of his own adored people and proceed with living the life through grieving about them and get accompanied by evil persons in his life. These are the great sorrows of a long-lived individual.

Also, he has to observe his wife, and sons die before him, melancholy over the death of his brothers and relatives, and to outlive he has to endure mortification for being dependent on others. For the most part, it is insulting on account of being destitute.

Besides he has to see progress and success of shameful individuals and devastation and passing of his dynasty." Sage Baka then alluded to Indra that Indra himself being the king, must have seen how vicissitudes occurred between lowborn individuals and delicate families and what deities, demons, people, Gandharvas, and Nagas did after getting to be their alternate extremes. A respectable individual also suffers because of acts of lowborn individuals.

The absurd individuals enjoy whereas shrewd get to be hopeless. Wealthy individuals bother the poor. A long-lived individual had to see all these. These kinds of grievances and sufferings are generally found in Human yonis.

At that point, Indra inquired, "What kind of delights that a long-lived individual gets all through his life?"

Sage answered, "A long-lived individual who prepares a meal at least once a day at his put without depending on any awful companions is the most joyful. In the event that He doesn't get to count his days, doesn't have to think about getting his food every day and is never alluded to as a 'glutton person' (who eats Unquenchably) at that point, it is known as the most prominent pleasure for him. One who gets nourishment by means of his endeavours and not by taking anybody else's help remains enchanted.

Without showing lowliness in front of others and getting food on his own is considered joy. But getting sweet dishes from others after being insulted by them isn't at all great. Indeed astute individuals are impugned to live life by taking others' shelter. In case he wishes to eat food from others at that point he is no less than a dog. Such a meal of misery and evil-minded individuals is damned.

Nothing may be more pleasurable for him than having his food after performing Bali-vaishvadeva vidhi (offering food to God before eating) and after offering it to visitors, spirits, and pitrs. Also Having his food after Yajnasesa or Yajnashesha( the remains of oblation or sacrifice) is considered the purest and sweetest for him.

That Long-lived individual who eats only after offering his nourishment to the guests gets sacredness from those Brahmin guests comparable to righteousness earned by giving thousands of cows conjointly his wrongdoings gets devastated amid his youthful age by such a noble act. Additionally, to get rid of all his corrupt acts instantly, he has got to sprinkle with the utsarga water again the Pratigraha water that a Brahmin holds in his hand during the time the individual gives Dakshina to him. After hearing all this, Deity King Indra left for heaven.

TARKSHYA AND GODDESS SARASVATI CONVERSATION

Goddess Sarasvati answers Sage Tarkshya

The Vedic Goddess of Knowledge and Arts: Goddess Sarasvati represents the free flow of shrewdness and consciousness. Sage Markandeya had clarified the extraordinary discussion or Sambada of Goddess Sarasvati and Sage Tarkshya or Tarksya to the Pandavas during their exile period. Goddess had replied to the questions of righteous sage Tarkshya in a divine way that I am aiming to put up here. We all ought to go through these conversations.

Tarkshya inquired, "What kind of thing brings thriving to human beings? What is the conduct of a person that makes him pious? When to perform the sacrifice rituals of Firegod? How can somebody not demolish his religion, how can he reach all the lokas and Remain out of the Rajo Gunas( Rajo guna is one guna or tendency out of three Gunas of Human beings known as sattva, tamas, and Rajas, related to sluggishness, selfishness and Materialistic.)"

Devi answered, "The person who takes off the joys of The materialistic world and devotedly keeps his considerations in Swadhyay or self-study (recitation of the Vedas and other sacred writings) only, travels the heavenly route of Archi Marga(Archi Marg of Brahmaloka and Devaloka is one of the three margs the soul voyages through known as Archi Marg, Dhoom Marg or pitr Loka and Utpatti-Vinash Marg or hell). His soul voyages from Brahmaloka to Devaloka and gets to be near Devas or gods.

In Deva lokas there are little holy and wonderful lakes filled with modest fishes, covered with fragrant blossoms, the sacred individuals who reach devaloka are established with the distinctive charming Apsaras there within the lake. Someone who does Godan or cow donation goes to Uttam lokas. By giving bull he reaches Surya loka, via contributing garments Chandra loka and by giving gold he acquires long life. That person who gives any cow that looks fine, lets humans easily milk her and never runs away from her bondage, will remain in Devaloka for a long time. That Person who gives working steers that are relaxed, greatly effective, capable of ploughing, and bearing the burden of the vehicles gets the sacred Loka ten times more than others. That human who gives Kanasy dohani, clothes, Uttar kaalik Dakshina along with Kapila cow (named as per Kapila sage) that gives the wealthiest milk, s a result those cows turn into Kamadhenu, comes to Paralokas and that human who gives them gains heavenliness for a long time. Moreover, by donating those cows, the total seven generations of that proprietor also get salvation.

Any person who gives gold horns, bronze milk bowls or things, tippets, or dhenu beside Dakshina to the Brahmins gets Vasus Loka. Just like the way the boat with the help of favourable wind rescues a man from drowning in the deep sea, donating cows spares a man from going towards hell for his evil activities like kama, krodha, etc. That individual who hands over his daughter to an appropriate groom by way of Brahmya Vivah or wedding customs gives wealth and other materials to Brahmins and goes to Indraloka. That heavenly Person who offers to fire god for seven years continually in a disciplined way, not only purifies his ancestors but also his seven future generations. "

Tarkshya inquired, "What are the old laws of Agnihotra or fire sacrifice ceremonies?"

Devi replied, "That individual who is unholy, doesn't wash his hands and legs, isn't aware of Vedas and Vedartha or Veda Arthas(the summary or objective of Vedas) must not perform Agnihotra. Deities get the Havisha only after knowing the nobility of a human being. That individual who doesn't know the mantras or Vedas must not be designated for Offering the Havisha otherwise it'll be squandered. In dharmasastra, it is said that these kinds of Ashrotriya people (who have not learned the Vedas) must not perform the fire sacrifice rituals. Those who hone austerities remain truthful, perform havan routinely with dedication, and eat the food from the havan only after everybody has wrapped up, they reach the lokas of sacred cows and after that see the Paramatma or the lord. "

Tarkshya at that point inquired about the lovely goddess of her identity who had a huge knowledge of Paraloka and Karmafal or the results of each activity.

Goddess then answered him, "Oh Principled Sage Tarkshya! I am the goddess of Knowledge: Sarasvati, who show up through the Agnihotra act performed by sages and came here to reply to your questions. I continuously remain within the inward devotion of human beings. Satisfied with your devout nature, I reply to you the truth in a brief. "

Tarkshya then asked her how could she be both elegant and divine like goddess Laxmi and have the preeminent intelligence of Pragyan at the same time.

Sarasvati answered him, "By performing the extraordinary yagikalog yajna or through compilation of offerings, I get asserted and delighted furthermore get the divine appearance. Barks, pieces of the wood of the trees butea or samidha shruba, any earthen-produced paddy crops or brihi and golds are utilized while performing the Agnihotra that gives charm to my beauty. "

Tarkshya sage at that point inquired her, "What is that Pada for which the sages control over their senses and by which pada or residence a person gets Moksha or salvation?" Sage wished to know the Sanatan Moksha tatwa that a Samkhya yogi or Karma yogi is as of now aware of.

Sarasvati replied," All the Samkhya yogis (the yogis who do the analytical study of soul and body) who remain in their yogas, practices austerities, penance constantly stays far away from sorrows and gets the eminent, paratpara or the greatest of great and ancient Pada is known as 'Sanatana Brahmapada'. Vedic people prefer that holy pada only.

In that Parambrahma, an expansive veta tree exists there, which comprises numerous branches of bhoga or satisfactions and is filled with the scent of sabdadi or senses. From the root of such a tree, numerous delight-giving waterways come out. These streams show up as if they let numerous fulfilling materials flow from them that can satisfy anybody but in reality, it gives no good results, is unholy, and puts pessimism interior the soul. These wonderful waterways look sweet like honey and taste like milk but give no godlikeness. By performing yajna only one can discover Brahma. Indra along with the Fire god, and wind god Worship Brahma and perform the yajna to acquire the pada is known as 'Parampada' where I, Devi Sarasvati dwell. "

UNFAILING COURTESY OF GREAT SAGES

Parapuranjaya kills the son of Arishtanemi and becomes accountable for Brahma Hatya and the admirable conversation between Sage Atri and King Prithu

I have gone through short but sublime topics showing the colossal control of an Ascetic who became alive indeed after getting killed by a Kshatriya Prince inadvertently and an awesome sage named Atri who in spite of having diverse suppositions from the other Brahmins who were there within the king's court managed to get wealth in alms from the saintly king Prithu. Now you all must be thinking how can it be conceivable for an Ascetic to get to be alive even after being killed and the king agrees to give wealth to an Ascetic to whom no one agreed? Well, it used to be possible because of their wonderful power of penance and genuine celibacy. Markandeya sage had elaborated on the genuine nature of Brahmins and had given a few examples of them to the Pandavas amid their exile period. In this post, I will share the incident of Prince  Parapuranjaya and King Prithu.

At that point, the Kshatriyas alongside the sage reached the place where Parapuranjaya had killed the sage however could not discover his body. All the Kshatriyas were embarrassed not to find the body of the sage. Arishtanemi at that point showed them his son and inquired them in case he was the one whom the king had slaughtered.

Kings were stunned to see him lively and inquired how could it be possible. Arishtanemi told them, "Death never affects us! We as of now have control over our senses, never have slothfulness, continuously perform Sandhyopasana or praying god in the morning and noon, eat pure food, reasonably earn alms, remain honest continuously, hence never dreaded death. In addition, we favour auspicious works of Brahmins, never do backbiting, continuously satisfied the guests with appropriate nourishment and water, consume food only after serving it to those who depend on them, stay in a place where we involve our intellect in sama, dama or, khyama, Tirthasevana and daan only, We only remain with the company of righteous people, consequently, we prevail our death." Sage answered her, "Gautama sage once specified to me about the principled nature of the king but at the same time told me regarding the Brahmins of the king's court who continuously loathe me. I do not wish to go to the king as I am aware that even if I speak virtuous with respect to Dharma, Artha, and Kama near the king, those Brahmins will go against him to form it untrue."

Be that as it may, he agreed afterwards to go to King Prithu to get some Wealth after the yajna. On the yajna Mandap, he lauded the king and did the stuti of him like a god. Shocked by hearing this, Gautama sage cautioned him now not to say stupidly since the god-king Indra himself was already present there.

Sage Atri answered him, "King Prithu is comparable to Indra, their ruler, Prajapati himself and it's the sage Gautama only, who misplaced his intellect out of an illusion." Gautama then blamed the sage for doing stuti purposely to get some benefits in return. He told Atri, "You know no religion, you are an idiot and you have ended up senior by age and looks not by your intelligence." All the other Brahmins who were already present there for the yajna noticed the two sages contending. They all went to the incredible Sanatkumara for getting the right reply.

Sanatkumara told all of them, "When Brahmins and Kshatriyas unite, they are able of burning everything similar to fire and wind burning the whole forest together. The king himself is recognized as sacred. He is referred to as Prajapati, Indra, Shukracharya, Ruler, and Brihaspati. King is alluded to as 'Prajapati', 'Virata', 'Nrupa', 'Samrata', 'Vupati' and 'Kshatriya' and thus worshipped. King wins the war, continuously secures his people, is venerated as Lord, wins over his enemies, and lets his Kshatriya people acquire heaven through their religion consequently known as Bavru or Lord Vishnu. Similar to the sun taking away the darkness, the king annihilates the sinful acts on the earth and remains truthful continuously. Therefore the king is known as Prajapati. "

After saying this Sanatkumara agreed with sage Atri's explanation. At that point, King Prithu being regarded by sage Atri, gave him lots of wealth, gems, garments, slaves, gold coins, and golds. Atri acknowledged those, returned to his put, gave everything to his sons, and went to the forest.
