Agni assumed Lord Brahma must have appointed Sage Angira as another Agni for the entire world considering that Agni had already lost his glory due to practicing austerities. Agni became curious to discover a technique to get back to his fierce form. He noticed sage Angira with his blaze was heating the entire universe. Scared Agni slowly reached close to him. Sage Angira saw the God of fire and then requested him, "Dev! you're honoured inside the complete universe. Kindly take back your position. Lord Brahma has created you in the first form to dispel the darkness of the world. "

After hearing this Agni responded, "Sage! I have already lost my glory in the world. You deserve this function. Please be honoured. humans will only bear in mind you as Agni. no person will regard my blaze in front of yours. moreover, I'm able to come up with all my Agnitva and you take the primary form of Agni. I will take the second one vicinity of Prajapatyagni."

Angira then said, "Agnidev! You do the auspicious work of sending the Havisha (offerings) to all the deities for the saintly human beings to let them acquire heaven. also, take the position of Agni by yourself to illuminate the whole universe and accept me as your first son."

Agni agreed to him and blessed him with a son named Brihaspati. all of the Deities were curious to know why Agni accepted Sage Angira as his son. After knowing approximately the purpose, they considered it was justified.

Saha had a wife named Mudita. She gave birth to Adbhuta Agni. Adbhuta Agni established in wealth and prosperity is venerated as the lord of Mahabhuta and recognized as 'Grihapati Agni' to present Havisha to the deities in the course of the Havan. He had a son named Bharat who used to burn dead bodies in a cremation who later named 'Niyat' for being in Agnishtoma or Agnistoma yajna(one form of Soma sacrifices). One day Saha Agni while noticing all of the deities alongside Niyat approaching him, feared being touched by his grandson and thus hid beneath the sea. Saha saw Atharva and asked him to be dignified in Agni's place and present Havisha to the deities on behalf of him due to the fact that he was getting weak. Then Saha went to another location. Atharva searched for him anywhere and got to know his vicinity from the fish. because the fishes disclosed his location, Saha cursed them, "You'll all be eaten up by many animals from now on."

Atharva according to the demand of deities again requested Saha to do his task but Saha denied thinking about his weakened state of physic and consequently left his body there. Saha then entered the depths of the earth, created many treasured gemstones by way of touching the ground, clouds stuffed the crust of the earth with ores and practised austerities. Then Bhrigu and Angira woke him up from his deep penance.

Seeing Maharishi Angira Saha Agni again hid below the sea out of fear. The invisibility of Agni terrified the entire globe. They prayed and took refuge in Angira Atharva. Atharva shook the whole ocean and located Agni there. Then Agni after coming back to his form commenced out carrying the Havisha of all people to the deities. Agni whilst roaming beneath the ocean, located many Vedokta (declared by means of Vedas) Agnis and their places.
