BRIHANNALA DEFEATED KAURAVAS AND KARNA

Brihannala becomes charioteer of  Prince Uttara, Uttara runs away from war, Brihannala discloses his identity to him and He defeats Karna and Kauravas there

After defeating Susharma, King Virata went to rescue their cows from the Trigartas. During that time Duryodhana along with Bhishma, Karna, Shakuni, Dronacharya, Kripacharya, Ashwathama or Ashwatthama, his Kaurava brothers, and the army attacked the Virata kingdom. They killed many Shepherds and started out stealing their cows. The head of Shepherd went to the kingdom and seeing Virata king nowhere informed his son Uttara regarding such an attack. He encouraged the prince to battle with the Kauravas and rescue them. At that time Uttara used to be accompanied by females in his palace. Out of boastfulness he praised himself and agreed to face the Kauravas. However, he requested to find one charioteer for him.

Arjuna who used to be disguised as Brihannala requested Draupadi to suggest the prince take him as his charioteer in the war. Also, he asked Draupadi or Sairandhri to mention to the prince that Brihannala had already stayed charioteer of the brave Arjuna before. Draupadi told Uttara as by Brihannala. Uttara sent his sister Uttara to Brihannala who requested her to be the charioteer of His brother. Arjuna agreed and left with Prince Uttara alone on his chariot towards Kauravas. Uttara was surprisingly certain that he would kill the entire enemies all by himself.

They both observed the massive number of army and Kauravas from a distance. Seeing the Kauravas, Karna alongside their gurus, Uttara changed his mind out of concern and asked Brihannala to take him back to the kingdom. Prince referred to his incapacity to combat with the Kauravas as his father Virata had already taken all the army to triumph over the Trigartas. Brihannala denied doing such as he knew all people would make fun of Uttara for running away from the combat ground like a coward. Uttara jumped down from the chariot and tried to get away from there. Being Kshatriyas Arjuna ought to by no means allow the prince to do such. He chased the scared prince grabbed him by his hair and asked him to become his charioteer so that he could battle with all of them. Brihannala convinced the prince and went towards the cemetery where the Pandavas had hidden all their weapons in a tree. Brihannala asked Uttar to climb up the tree and bring her weapons. Seeing the divine weapons, Uttara was shocked by how could Brihannala know about all these divine weapons. Then Brihannala gave her real introduction and also mentioned to the prince his brothers' identity and the curse of Urvashi on him.

Brihannala also told him, "My time of being impotent is already over by this time. As per my brother Yudhishthira, we are continuing with our disguises." Uttara regretted his behaviour and asked for forgiveness to him and accompanied him to the war assuredly. Arjuna removed his bangles wore the shields and carried all his weapons, Hanumanji appeared on the dhwaja of the chariot and by way of blowing his conch shell, he went towards the Kauravas.

The entire Kauravas assumed that person could be Arjuna. Duryodhana that time reminded the gurus that, Pandavas had to stay unidentified for one year, and a few days were still left. As per the conditions set during Dyutkrida, Pandavas had to go to the forest again for another twelve years. However, Kauravas at that time prepared themselves for the battle. Bhishma made an array on the battleground and decided all of their positions. Arjuna amongst the gurus and Ashwathama could find Duryodhana there. Assuming that Duryodhana could have escaped from there while stealing the cows of the kingdom, he requested Uttara to locate Duryodhana first. He shot many arrows at the armies there. With the sound of Dhanush and conch shells, he made the cows run in the direction of the south side and rescued them. While crushing underneath the toe of his horses, Arjuna entered the array furiously. Many warriors failed in front of brave Arjuna and ran away from the war ground. Arjuna crushed all their weapons and burst their chariots by shooting arrows. He killed many armies and warriors there. Seeing the demise of his brother Sangramjeet, enraged Karna attacked Arjuna. Both of the glorious combatants fought mightily for a long time. Arjuna was additionally hurt by

Karna's arrows. Arjuna then shot many arrows from his Dhanush at a time and made him helpless. Injured Karna ran away from there. Arjuna was praised for his appropriate use of his divine weapons, his archery skills, his warfare approach, and Uttara's charioteer abilities thereby Kaurava enemies. Arjuna resembled The mighty deity Indra there. Arjuna defeated Duryodhana alongside his brothers and Karna there. He additionally killed and injured many armies. Then he went in the direction of Kripacharya. Many deities appeared in the sky in their divine Vimana to have a look at the combat between Arjuna and the gurus. Kripacharya broke all Arjuna's arrows into pieces. Arjuna shot many at them and injured his four horses on the chariot. Kripacharya fell from his chariot then again Arjuna out of respect toward his guru did not assault him in this situation. Finding his Dhanush cut into pieces by way of Arjuna there, Kripacharya attacked him with a Rathasakti weapon. But Arjuna shot arrows at it and made it useless. Seeing Kripacharya helpless, the Kaurava armies took him away from Arjuna. Arjuna went closer to the guru Drona. Arjuna offered his prayers to him, being the favourite student of his guru Dronacharya he knew that he used to be fighting as per the want of Kauravas only. Hence he waited for him to attack first. Drona shot arrows at him. Arjuna showed his archery guru his agility in archery and fought with him bravely. Both of them were amazing and skilful. Arjuna shot one lakh of arrows at one time at Dronacharya. Ashwathama; son of Drona reached there and diverted Arjuna's mind towards him. Drona received a chance to get away from there at that time. Ashwathama confronted Arjuna fearlessly but his arrows were finished and he was defeated by way of Arjuna there. Arjuna gave his arrows Back to him and went closer to Karna with anger. Remembering the harsh phrases of Karna he once more fought with him and injured him badly. Karna ran away in the direction of the north side. Arjuna then cautioned Uttara to locate Bhishma. That time in order to kill Arjuna there, Kripacharya, Duryodhana, Bibishati, Karna, Drona and Ashwathama attacked Arjuna from all facets and shot arrows at him. That time Arjuna shot Indrastra and made their arrows worthless. Armies ran away from there. Seeing his side army getting defeated, Bhishma attacked Arjuna furiously. He used all his divine weapons in opposition to Arjuna and Arjuna additionally did the same. It resembled the battle between Bali and Indra. Both Bhishma and Arjuna had been fantastic warriors. Bhishma injured Arjuna's physique with his arrows. Arjuna shot ten arrows at his chest and made him unconscious. Bhishma's charioteer took him away from there. Then Dhritarashtra's son Duryodhana clashed with Arjuna. Duryodhana injured Arjuna's body with his arrows. Arjuna shot many arrows at his chest and badly wounded his body. Arjuna killed Gajaraj there and severely harm Duryodhana with his arrows. Duryodhana alongside others started out running away too. Arjuna provoked him into battle and Duryodhana got here again for a fight. All the other warriors also got right here to assault Arjuna. Arjuna once more attacked them with many arrows and eventually blew his conch shell there. Hearing the voice of the conch shell all of them lost their senses. At that time Arjuna asked Uttara to bring their upper part clothes to present to Uttara. Arjuna knew Bhishma would have already gained back his senses so he denied Uttar to carry his clothes. While coming out of the fighting ground, Bhishma once more attacked Arjuna. However, he attacked him back, gashed his charioteer, and got here out of that place. Seeing such, Duryodhana out of pride accused Bhishma of letting Arjuna go freely.

Bhishma instructed him that, "Duryodhana! You already lost your self-respect when you alongside different warriors lost your senses whilst listening to the sound of the conch shell. Arjuna could have killed all of us, on the other hand being beneficient he left us alive here." Duryodhana then being speechless left for Hastinapur alongside Karna.

After getting triumph over the Kauravas, Arjuna recommended Uttara to let the king understand that solely Uttar himself had defeated the complete Kauravas and Karna on the battleground, not Arjuna. Since Yudhishthira had advised all his brothers to wait for the ideal time to disclose their identity, Arjuna removed the shield, hid his weapons, wore the bangles obtained back to his suited dancer form took the charioteer place of the prince and entered the kingdom with him. Later Uttara mentioned to his father Virata that a Debaduta had defeated the Kauravas and saved the cows of the kingdom.
